I became a board member of Kids for Peace in 2007 when my friend
Jill, the co-founder of the organization, invited me to join. As an
elementary school teacher and extensive traveler, Kids for Peace falls
in line with my beliefs and philosophies about children and our world.
Schools rarely focus on teaching cross cultural awareness. I see Kids
for Peace as that missing gap and something I want my own child to be
a part of someday. |
